Come out and enjoy the beautiful weather with a fun-filled day at the zoo! Also, find out about Autism and the many groups who provide services in the Bergen County Area.
*The day features FREE Zoo admission, live animal demonstrations, as well as free crafts and train rides!

Spring has arrived and with that comes pollen!
Trees are the BIGGEST source of pollen in northern New Jersey, say allergy experts. Tree pollination in the state occurs from March to June, typically peaking in May. To lessen the effects of outdoor spring allergens try the following:
-Encourage indoor play during midday hours when pollen levels are typically the highest
-Use air conditioning and keep windows closed
-Insist children shower and change clothing after outdoor play
Easter Bonnet Party: On Thursday March 28th we will be having an Easter Bonnet Party! Children are invited to come to school wearing their best hat!
The Easter Bunny will stop in for a special visit and pick the winner of best hat!
Events will begin at 10am! Parents are welcome to join!
Early Dismissal: There will also be a 12:00 PM dismissal on Thursday March 28th.
School will be CLOSED Friday March 29th in observance of Good Friday!

During the month of March we celebrate Dr. Seuss, a famous children’s author recognized for his playful rhyming tales, such classics like The Cat in the Hat and Green Eggs and Ham, that have made their way into so many of our homes and hearts over the years.
Let’s celebrate reading with our children!
Dr. Seuss has a Beginner Books collection including many children’s favorite stories: great resources to get your child excited about reading!

January marks the 4 year anniversary of Appletree’s opening!
A BIG heartfelt thank you to all the staff, families and children who have been a part of the last 4 years. It has been a wonderful blessing!
We look forward to many more years ahead full of love, laughter and learning as our Appletree family continues to grow!
